Sustainable timber

Cresta Building Products are able to supply insulation support blocks in a choice of materials. Depending on the temperatures that they are going to be used at these include Calcium Silicate, Phenolic and wood.

The main timber currently used in the production of the wooden support blocks is Obeche, sometimes known as Wawa. This is a light weight timber, although classified as a hard wood, which is forested from managed plantations in Ghana.

However, to meet the increasing need of our customers to demonstrate that they are constructing buildings from sustainable materials, Cresta can source this material.
